Drivers in Manitoba will be seeing improvements at the intersection of Highways 1 and 16 west of Portage la Prairie.
Premier Brian Pallister says the province is planning on constructing a roundabout at the intersection.
The Premier says this will improve safety and efficiency at one of the province’s most dangerous intersections.
A study that will guide the design of the roundabout will wrap up in October, and construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2021.
