The president of APAS says farmers are staring to get ready for harvest.

Todd Lewis says they held a series of district meeting across the 3 northern districts just last week.

Generally, he says it’s been wet across many regions, and producers are hoping for drier weather over the next few weeks.

APAS are also lobbying for exemption of the carbon tax for grain drying, so far with no avail.
