A Woman Charge In A Fatal Accident Was Back In Court

Another court appearance for a Piapot First Nation woman committed to stand trial next year on charges in fatal collision on there in August, 2019. When RCMP arrived, a woman at the scene acknowledged that she had hit the victim with her vehicle, in the driveway. 33-year-old Nolan Sugar died in Regina hospital. 45-year-old Leah Pratt faces several charges, and her next pretrial appearance will be on March 11th in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench. Her jury trial will be held on October 3rd.
