Churchbridge Man Pleads Guilty To Illegal HUnting

Hunting on private land without permission in February has cost a Churchbridge area man $3 thousand and a year’s hunting license suspension. Conservation officers acting on a tip saw 2 people retrieving a moose from a farm near Bredenbury, and also discovered pieces off the animal were cut off, leaving edible parts in the field to waste. In Yorkton court earlier this month, John Mair pleaded guilty to 2 charges, while a 3rd was withdrawn.
