Saskatchewan Announced 108 New Cases Of COVID-19, 83 Recoveries, 1 Death

  • As of November 26, there are 108 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 80,775 reported cases.
  • The new cases are located in the Far North East (1), North West (8), North Central (19), North East (2), Saskatoon (12), Central East (24), Regina (12), South West (1), South Central (7), and South East (19) zones and three (3) new case has pending residence information.
  • Nine (9) cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North West (from November 24 (1)), North West (from September 29 (1), October 2 (1)), and North Central (from August 27 (2), August 31 (1), November 18 (3)) zones.

  • 80,775 cases are confirmed
    • 19,734 cases are from the North area (8,772 North West, 8,132 North Central, 2,830 North East)
    • 19,284 cases are from the Saskatoon area
    • 15,793 cases are from the Regina area
    • 10,089 cases are from the South area (2,181 South West, 2,961 South Central, 4,947 South East)
    • 9,340 cases are from the Far North area (4,391 Far North West, 541 Far North Central, 4,408 Far North East)
    • 6,003 cases are from the Central area (1,435 Central West, 4,568 Central East)
    • 532 cases have pending residence information
  • 1,017 cases are considered active and 78,842 cases are considered recovered.
  • Almost one-third (32.4%) of new cases are in the age category of 11 or under.
  • One-half (50.7%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) was fully vaccinated.
  • As of November 26, a total of 143 individuals are hospitalized; including 102  inpatient hospitalizations, and 41 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 143 patients, 94 (65.7%) were not fully vaccinated.
  • In addition addition to SK ICU counts, there are six (6) residents receiving out of province care in hospital. As these patients are receiving care out of province, this number is not included in the hospitalization counts in the dashboard.
  • One (1) new death reported today. 916 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died with a case fatality rate of 1.1%
  • There has been a reported 4,317 doses administered in the five to 11 age range (Far North West 42; Far North Central 7; Far North East 53; North West 149; North Central 161; North East 81; Saskatoon 1,847; Regina 1,390; Central West 60; Central East 148; South West 65; South Central 112; South East 167). The five to 11 vaccination data will be added to the COVID-19 dashboard next week. Note: 11 year olds who will turn 12 in 2021, previously reported in the 12 to 17 category, are now included in the five to 11 category.
  • 1,272,166 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of November 24, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,073,818 tests performed per million. The national rate was 1,265,179 tests performed per million population.
  • The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 98 (8.1 new cases per 100,000.)
