A man who admitted to his role in a violent home invasion in Russell, will learn his fate later this month.

32-year-old Christopher Benn was in Brandon yesterday , where he was remanded in custody for sentencing on September 28th.

His co-accused, 40-year-old Elroy Benn and 30-year-old Harley Mecas, are also in custody, and return to court on Monday.

In the early morning hours of December 22nd, Russell RCMP were called to a report of a home invasion at an apartment complex in Russell, where a 32-year-old woman was assaulted while she slept.
