A Sask. Man Charged With Murder Was Back In Court

Another court appearance has been made by a Melfort man, charged in connection to a shooting incident on the James Smith First Nation. In Melfort yesterday, 33-year-old Shawn Moostoos was remanded in custody for his next court date on October 25th. He faces two counts of First Degree Murder and one count each of Attempted Murder and Discharge a Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life. September 5th, three people were shot during an altercation at a home on the reserve, resulting in the deaths of a 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, while a 44-year-old man was sent to hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
