Another adjournment in the case of a man committed to stand trial, on charges stemming from a June 2017 drug and weapons bust on the George Gordon’s First Nation, which netted police a loaded rifle, knives, over seven-hundred rounds of ammunition, and a small amount of crystal meth. 29-year-old Cody Gordon faces one count of Trafficking a Controlled Substance, and his next appearance in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench, is set for April 8, 2022. Gordon is also committed to stand trial in Regina QB from February 28th to March 15th of next year, for First Degree Murder, in connection with the September 2016 death of former Yorkton resident Mackenzie Keshane.
