Saskatchewan’s Finances Improving

The Saskatchewan government’s final financial report for fiscal 2018-19 has good news.
The document shows the provincial deficit is 112 million dollars lower that the 3rd quarter estimate of 380 million dollars, and is pegged at 268 million.
It also comes in below the deficit of $365 million forecast in the 2018-19 budget.
Finance Minister Donna Harpauer says a 74 per cent jump in the province’s potash revenues explained much of the improvement.
