Slow Progress On Manitoba’s Harvest

Harvest progress in Manitoba sits at only 47 percent complete, well behind the 5-year average of 79 percent. The weekly crop report says few crops were harvested last week until the weekend, due to frequent rains, high humidity, and overcast conditions. With a favourable forecast, it’s expected that good harvest progress should be made this week. There was heavy frosts last Thursday morning at Roblin, Inglis, and Grandview.
