- Almost one-third (31.4%) of new cases are in the age category of 40 to 59
- More than one-half (58.1%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 5 years and older) were fully vaccinated
- As of December 13th, a total of 110 individuals are hospitalized, including 76 inpatient hospitalizations and 34 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 110 patients, 69 (62.4%) were not fully vaccinated.
- In addition to SK ICU counts, there is one (1) resident receiving out-of-province care in hospital. As this patient is receiving care out of province, this number is not included in the hospitalization counts in the dashboard.
- No (0) new deaths reported today. 937 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
- 1,300,100 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of December 9, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,096,047 tests performed per million. The national rate was 1,302,852 tests performed per million
