Federal Support on the way for Ten Royal Canadian Legion Branches in the Parkland Region

Ten Royal Canadian Legion branches in the Parkland Region are receiving financial support from the federal government.

The Veterans Organizations Emergency Support Fund provides grants to non-profit and registered charitable organizations that support veterans and their families.

The grants are intended to help organizations with operational costs and financial shortfalls caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Legions in Yorkton and Melville will each receive over 15-thousand dollars, while Foam Lake gets over 13-thousand dollars, and Kamsack will collect nearly 7-thousand dollars.
