A Swan River man, found guilty of Second Degree Murder, has been sentenced.
In Dauphin yesterday (Thu), 32-year-old Tyler Brass received life in prison with no chance of parole for 17 years from the day of his arrest.
He was also given a lifetime weapons ban, and must provide a DNA sample.
In January of 2019, Mounties were called to a report of a stabbing at a Swan River home .
39-year-old Christopher Chartrand of Swan River was located inside, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
