Manitoba’s Riding Mountain National Park is more than ready for this winter, as they have a full slate of activities for visitors.
Ingrid Gatin is the Visitor Centre Supervisor at Riding Mountain. She says their starting up a new series called Fireside Fridays, where every Friday from 6-9 p.m. where everyone can enjoy a free coffee, hot chocolate, games, movies, and open mic nights.
Gatin notes the inaugural Fireside Friday is happening today (Sat) because of Remembrance Day.
Other activities include a skating rink which extends into an ice skating path nearby, groomed ski trails and plenty of snowshoe opportunities.
