When I was at the Gateway Co-op in Canora yesterday, selling the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbooks, I saw a lot of familiar faces. One lady, Nettie, who I haven’t seen in years, came with her son to buy a cookbook. She has sent me recipes through the years and it was so nice seeing her. She is 96 years old, has 9 children, 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and just attended her great grandson’s wedding! My grandparents all passed away when I was young, so this story is so special for me to hear!
