The Board of Directors of Prairie Mountain Health announced today that CEO Brian Schoonbaert has put his notice for retirement effective April 5th, 2024.

Schoonbaert’s career in health care spanned over 35 years, starting as a Finance Director, then transitioning to Vice President for Brandon General Hospital and Brandon RHA, and then, in 2011, taking over as Chief Executive Officer for Brandon RHA.

Board of Directors Chairperson Lon Cullen thanked Brian for his commitment to all PMH staff, physicians and volunteers.

A search for his successor will begin immediately.
