Since 2016, Yortkon Hyundai has partnered with the Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer fund.

This morning, Owner Ron Kaban presented a cheque to Greg and Leone Ottenbreit for $20,705 on behalf of the dealership, raising the total to $100,176 since 2016.

Greg Ottenbreit thanks Hyundai and the community for their work with the fund.

“We would never seen this happening 26 years ago, but it truly is amazing the support of people in this province and businesses like Yorkton Hyundai make it all possible,” said Ottenbreit.

Kaban talks about the importance of giving back to the community.

“It’s very important; that’s why we do what we do, whether it’s Kids Sports, Close Cuts, or we’re involved with the Terriers. We do a lot of things in the community, and Hyundai Canada is very up on making sure that we are involved with the community, and it’s important to me as a dealer.

The fund was created in 1998 when their son Brayden was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Brayden tragically lost his battle with cancer in February 2000.
