A preliminary hearing has been set for a north central Manitoba boy, charged with First Degree Murder.
On February 10th, RCMP were called to a home in the Esterhazy-Stockholm area, where three males allegedly broke in and stole firearms, a significant amount of ammunition, and the home owner’s vehicle, which was later found burned a short distance away.
Upon arrival, Mounties found a 34-year-old man shot dead, and a woman had to be taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The 17-year-old, whose name can’t be released due to his age, appeared in court again yesterday, where he was remanded in custody for his prelim, on June 4th in Yorkton.
