Charges have been laid against an 18-year-old man, arrested following an extensive New Year’s Day manhunt.
Xander Tardiff was wanted in connection to a shooting in Creighton, Saskatchewan, and a homicide in Flin Flon, early Saturday morning (Jan. 1).
He is facing charges related to the homicide in Flin Flon, which are Second Degree Murder, Discharge a Firearm with Intent, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm while Prohibited.
Tardiff is also facing charges related to the shooting in Creighton, which are Discharge a Firearm with Intent and Possession of a Firearm while Prohibited.
He has been remanded into custody for an appearance in The Pas court tomorrow (Tues) on the charges from Flin Flon, as well as appear in La Ronge court for the charges in Creighton.
