The City of Yorkton has declared a 72-hour Snow Route Parking Ban for the downtown core, after the snowfall over the past couple of days.

The Blue Route parking ban comes into effect tonight at 11 p.m., and lasts until 7 a.m..

Please note that during the day normal parking is permitted, to allow businesses to operate as normal, but overnight, the parking ban is in effect, to allow city crews to clear the snow.

Keep in mind as well, that if your vehicle is parked on the street during the ban, you could be fined.
