One of four people arrested in connection with the death of a Yorkton man last summer has appeared in court again.
A 17-year-old boy, who can’t be named due to his age, was in Yorkton this (THURS) morning, where he was remanded in custody, for a preliminary hearing, on September 19th, after pleading “not guilty” to Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
The other charges against him, including Second Degree Murder, will also be spoken to that day, as well.
The Crown will be seeking an adult sentence, should he be convicted.
The remains of Colin Focht were found in a rural area outside Yorkton on April 4th.
