No Pikangikum wildfire evacuees will be leaving Regina today.
The province said in an update today that with evacuees being housed is many communities, Ontario is dealing with some movement issues causing flight inconsistencies.
Saskatchewan Public Safety spokesperson Duane McKay says that means just under 300 evacuees will continue to stay at the U of R.
McKay says it’s not known how long the people from Northern Ontario will need to stay, but they will continue to plan activities and foster a community until they can go home.
