Two charged following pursuits near Kendal and McLean

A 32-year-old Regina man and a female youth, have been charged in relation to failed traffic stops last week.

Last Monday afternoon, Indian Head RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle stranded in the snow near Kendal, but when police arrived, the vehicle fled on a grid road.

Later in the day, White Butte RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle in a field near McLean, and it was confirmed that the   vehicle matched the description of the one involved in the earlier incident.

The Regina Police Service’s Aerial Unit tracked the vehicle to a residence in Regina, and Dylan Beler, along with the youth, who can’t be named due to her age, were arrested on a number of charges, including Flight from a Peace Officer, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Mischief Over $5,000.

Beler remains in custody, to appear in Regina Provincial Court again on April 8th, while the youth was released, and will be back in court on Thursday.
