I am continuing my journey of watching movies I’ve never seen before, and I recently had the pleasure of watching Tetris for the very first time. Let me just say, it was an absolute masterpiece! From the moment the movie began, I was hooked by the story, the effects, the cinematography; just overall a well done movie!

Tetris isn’t your typical video game movie like Detective Pikachu or Sonic The Hedgehog. Tetris is based on the story behind the game. The lengths one man went to to get the game out of the Soviet Union and into the hands of everyone with a Game Boy. Notice I used the word “based” because it does get a bit theatrical towards the end. There definitely was not a car chase in real life, but the creative liberties they took did not take away from the story at all.

And can we talk about Taron Egerton for a moment? What an actor! He completely stole the show with his portrayal of Henk Rogers. You can’t help but root for him! Whatever movie he’s in, he always embodies the characters so well! Love him.

Overall, Tetris is a must-watch. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend checking it out. It’s a masterpiece that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! You can stream it on Apple TV+. So grab some popcorn, cozy up on the couch, and prepare to be amazed by Tetris! 🍿🎬
