New court date set for woman charged in Russell assaults

A new court date has been set for a Waywayseecappo First Nation woman, accused of committing two assaults in Russell.

On December 15th, Russell RCMP were called to a business in the town, where an employee claimed to be assaulted.

They later learned that a five-year-old child had been assaulted by the same suspect earlier in the day.

33-year-old Renee Gambler was in Russell Court yesterday (WED), where she had her matters adjourned to March 22nd.
