A Yorkton woman is Saskatchewan’s newest millionaire. 

Karen Aubin won over 1.8 million dollars on the Smoke Signals Jackpot Tuesday night at the Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton.

She says the win has allowed her to retire from a local feedlot fifteen months earlier than she had originally planned.

Smoke Signals is a progressive jackpot that links 51 slot machines at all seven Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority casinos.
