A murder charge has been laid, in connection with death of a teenage girl in Easterville, Manitoba 

At about 2:10 Friday morning, Chemawawin RCMP.were called to a report of a deceased female found in an open area in the community.

At the scene, officers found a 16-year-old girl with obvious injuries, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP Major Crimes say a 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, was arrested yesterday and remains in custody, charged with Second Degree Murder, in connection with the girl’s death.
