As the search for Bryer Schmegelsky and Kam McLeod continues, the RCMP were able to provide an update today (Fri).

Officers have conducted and continue to search in high probability area of interest in the Gillam area, and continue to share information with police forces across Canada.

Over the next 72 hours, investigators will conduct door-to-door canvases in the Town of Gillam and the Fox Lake Cree Nation, in hopes of generating new tips and information.

The RCMP have also explored the possibility that the suspects may have inadvertently received assistance leaving the area.
