SaskEnergy will be conducting a controlled natural gas flare starting about 8:00 this morning near the Village of Pelly. The provincial gas company is doing maintenance and inspection of the line, but has to burn the gas off first. Residents and drivers in the areas may see a 40-foot flare being emitted from the 40-foot flare stacks temporarily attached to the gas line at the location. The flaring should last about 3 hours.
