The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce revealed today that TD Bank will be the Platinum Sponsor for its 25th Annual Chamber Business Dinner. Amar Persaud, Financial Planner at TD Bank, also announced that the event’s guest speaker will be Barb Stefanyshyn-Cote, co-founder and co-owner of Black Fox Farm and Distillery.
Persaud highlighted TD’s commitment to community enrichment through its TD Ready Commitment initiative. “We aim to link our business, philanthropy, and human capital to help people feel more confident not just about their finances, but also in their ability to achieve their personal goals in a changing world,” he said.
Barb and her husband John have earned global recognition for their award-winning gins and whiskies that showcase Saskatchewan’s unique flavors. Raised near Springside, Stefanyshyn-Cote’s journey from rural roots to co-owning an acclaimed distillery promises to be both fascinating and inspiring.
Juanita Polegi, Chamber Executive Director, expressed her gratitude for TD Bank’s sponsorship and excitement for Stefanyshyn-Cote’s keynote address. “TD Bank’s significant sponsorship underscores the value it places on this Dinner for the business community,” she said.
The Chamber Business Dinner will take place on Wednesday, October 2nd, at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Cultural Centre. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are now available.
