New court dates have been set for two men who were recaptured after escaping from custody last month.

On July 7, RCMP say two men escaped from a Yorkton correctional centre during the night.

22-year-old Chase Ahpay was picked up by Saskatoon Police on July 15, and he’ll make his next appearance in Yorkton, via video, next Thursday.

The second escapee, 30-year-old Brett Schnieder, was arrested on Tuesday in Lloydminster, and he’ll be back in court there on August 26.
