This past Sunday, I had the awesome job of being the announcer for The Health Foundation Charity Road Race and Walk. It was such a rewarding experience, hanging out with our amazing community and supporting The Health Foundation. One of the coolest things about the event was the unique challenge of running to the sound of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony. If you managed to finish the 5km before the symphony ended, you got a special medal. How fun is that? It definitely added a bit of extra excitement and motivation for everyone involved. Getting to say, “On your marks, get set, go!” was a real highlight for me. I could feel the energy and anticipation as everyone prepared to start. Seeing everyone’s enthusiasm and dedication was truly inspiring. People of all ages and abilities came together to support this fantastic cause, and the sense of community was undeniable. Huge thanks to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, or helped out in any way. Your participation and support made the event a big success.
