Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Services released an updated timeline of a tragic event in the RM of McCreary on August 16.

Around 1:20 a.m., 41-year-old Marlon Glover forcibly entered the home of a 37-year-old woman whom he had known through a past relationship.

The woman managed to escape and hide in a nearby wooded area.

Glover then entered a nearby residence, killing the woman’s 66-year-old mother, 65-year-old father, and 35-year-old brother.

He later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound along 84 West Road.

The woman was found safe later that afternoon and taken to the hospital.
