Yorkton Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team seized cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine from a search yesterday afternoon.

At around 4:30 yesterday, SRT executed a search warrant for a Yorkton business, along with a vehicle, as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

As a result of the search, officers seized 373 grams of cocaine, 70 grams of fentanyl, 544 grams of methamphetamine, a large sum of cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

22-year-old Chaitanya Parashar from Scarbrough, Ontario, was arrested without incident and charged with three counts of Possession with the purpose of trafficking and one count of Possession of property obtained by crime.

He appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court this afternoon and was remanded into custody with a bail hearing set for August 26th.
