An investigation by Virden RCMP has led to the seizure of drugs.
On August 15th, as part of an ongoing drug investigation, Virden Mounties, along with the West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in town.
Following that was a search of a residence in Virden that turned up 53 grams of methamphetamine, 14 grams of psilocybin, and three grams of cocaine, along with numerous prescription pills, unstamped cigars and drug paraphernalia.
51-year-old Corrie Lee Blaine and 35-year-old Trisha Coulter, both from Virden, were charged with possession for the Purpose of Trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
34-year-old Jolene Judd of Virden was also charged with the same crimes and had an outstanding warrant of arrest.
