Man Sentenced to Jail For Uttering Threats to Yorkton Regional High School

Sentencing has been handed down to a man convicted of making an online threat to the Yorkton Regional High School.

In Yorkton Court yesterday (Thu), 22-year-old Cole Swain of Margo received nine months in jail.

His co-accused, 25-year-old Austin Ross of Yorkton, had previously admitted his guilt, and his sentencing is adjourned for decision on September 23 in Yorkton.

In March of last year, there was a report of a threat to the Yorkton Regional High School, but police determined there was no danger posed to students or staff.
