A man who admitted to escaping from the Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre near Yorkton, has been sentenced.

On July 7, RCMP say two men escaped from the facility during the night.

30-year-old Brett Schnieder was arrested on August 6 in Lloydminster.

Schnieder appeared in Lloydminster Court yesterday (Thu), where he was sentenced to 135 days in jail.
