Sentencing has been handed down to one of two people, who admitted to an armed robbery in Swan River.

In February of last year, RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery outside of a business in Swan River.

A 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy claimed that a man wielding a hammer demanded money and items, and fled.

21-year-old Jefferson Cook was sentenced to time already served, but remains in custody on an unrelated charge.
