An Easterville man charged with Manslaughter, in connection with a deadly stabbing in The Pas, has made another court appearance.

On January 19, RCMP were called to a report of a stabbing incident at a home on Edwards Avenue, and at the scene, Mounties found two seriously injured men.

A 37-year-old man was taken to hospital in Winnipeg, while 41-year-old Eugene Michelle, of The Pas, died of his injuries.

33-year-old Pierre Young remains in custody after appearing in The Pas Tuesday for a preliminary hearing, where he was committed for trial in The Pas Court of King’s Bench at a later date.
