Swan River RCMP are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that occurred on September 18th. 

A 48-year-old woman was shot while walking near a multi-unit residence in Swan River and was later driven to Swan Valley Health Centre by a passerby. 

She was treated and released from the hospital.

A white SUV, believed to be involved, was found by police, and a firearm was recovered from inside. 

However, the vehicle’s female owner was not implicated. Authorities believe the shooting was targeted and are seeking information from the public.
