Bail has been granted to an Ottawa man, arrested in connection with historic sexual assaults in Wynyard and Foam Lake.
57-year-old Gerard Loehr was in Wynyard Provincial Court today (Mon) on eleven charges, where he was released on 5-thousand dollars bail, and his matters adjourned to March 5th in Wadena.
In February of last year, a woman contacted Wynyard RCMP to file a report of sexual assault, dating back to between 1990 and 1996, when Loehr was a teacher in the area.
Since then, five other individuals have come forward with allegations against the same man.
