Charge Stayed Against Man Accused of Uttering Threat to Yorkton Regional High School

A new development in the case of a man accused of making an online threat to the Yorkton Regional High School.

In Yorkton Court yesterday (Mon), 25-year-old Austin Ross of Yorkton had the charges against him stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.

His co-accused, 22-year-old Cole Swain of Margo, had previously received nine months in jail.

In March of last year, there was a report of a threat to the Yorkton Regional High School, but police determined there was no danger posed to students or staff.
