Crop Hail Claims Hit 2 Thousand In July

Adjusters are busy dealing with crop damage hail claims totaling almost 2 thousand in Saskatchewan last month. Many of the storms were in mid-July, and hit farms in areas like Indian Head, Esterhazy, and Kelvington. Canadian Crop Hail Association president Rick Omelchenko says hail stones ranged in size from pea to tennis balls. He says claims are about normal to above normal for July in Saskatchewan.
