Jackson Miller made 55 saves but it wasn’t enough for the Swan Valley Stampeders as they fell 2-1 to the Steinbach Pistons to kick off their three game road-trip.

Carter DeMelo scored the lone goal for the Stampeders, while Connor Paronuzzi & Brayden Berg responded for the Pistons.

Swan Valley continues their weekend trip in Winnipeg on Saturday night against the Blues.
