New court date for Regina man charged in McLean armed robbery

A Regina man charged following an armed robbery in McLean last weekend has made another court appearance.

Just before 6:30 last Saturday night, Indian Head RCMP were called out to a business on the 200-block of Main Street in McLean, where they say a lone man entered the business, carrying an edged weapon, and took money from the cash register, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

File Hills Police Service members assisting in the investigation located the vehicle, and arrested the driver.

53-year-old Shahn Hunter appeared Thursday in Regina, charged with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon and Driving While Prohibited, and he remains in custody to appear again today.
