This past Friday, Dauphin RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Dauphin at approximately 4:00 pm.
Officers pulled over a vehicle containing three individuals, including a 34-year-old male driver from Ebb and Flow First Nation.
During the routine stop, officers noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle.
As a result, the driver and two passengers, a 46-year-old male and a 39-year-old female, both also from Ebb and Flow First Nation, were arrested.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered 28 grams of cocaine, a significant amount of cash, bear spray, a machete, and further drug-related paraphernalia.
The three individuals were released from custody with a court date set for November 28, 2024, in Dauphin.
They face charges related to drug trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
