Hey there, fellow TV enthusiasts! Ever find yourself sticking to a weird morning routine? Well, mine involves munching on breakfast while diving into a TV show. With it being peak spooky season, I thought I’d have breakfast with a series that’s been coming up on my Facebook feed a lot: Ghosts, the UK version. And boy, am I glad I did!
Now, I’ll admit I’m usually a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to anything remotely spooky. But Ghosts turned out to be all about the laughs rather than the scares. Each ghost in the series brings their own unique charm and humour to the haunted Button house, making the afterlife feel oddly welcoming and hilarious.
Mary quickly became my favourite. Watching her develop from a shy spirit, burnt at the stake as a so-called witch, to a confident ghost with her own voice was both heartwarming and inspiring.
The best part? With just 5 seasons and about 6 or 7 episodes each, it’s the perfect quick watch. I got through it all the way quite quickly and found myself with happy tears by the finale. It might not have been the ending I imagined, but it was such a great way to wrap-up the series.
So, what’s next on my watchlist? I’m thinking of giving the American version of Ghosts a try. I’m already seeing clips on my TikTok For You page!
