Sentencing has been handed down to a Dauphin man, who admitted to a serious assault.

In November of 2022, Yellowhead RCMP say a woman suffered severe, life-altering injuries.

40-year-old Wayne Becks was facing several charges, including Aggravated Assault and Uttering Threats.

Becks was in Minnedosa Court yesterday (Tue), where he was sentenced to two years less a day in jail.
