CN and CPKC Rail supplied a combined 88% of hopper cars ordered in grain week 13, a modest improvement from the 82% order fulfillment performance seen in week 12. 

That’s according to the Ag Transport Coalition.

In supplying 84% of cars ordered by shippers in week 13, CN performance saw a moderate improvement from the 80% order fulfillment performance seen the prior week. 

CN performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a fifteenth straight week. 

CPKC performance saw a notable improvement, with the railway supplying 91% of shipper orders in week 13 – its best performance this year – as compared to 85% the prior week. 

CPKC performance is above the 90% performance threshold for the first time in twelve weeks.
