Swan Valley Stampeders prevail in overtime in Winkler to snap losing skid


Landen Gulutzan scored with 29 seconds left in overtime to help the Swan Valley Stampeders snap their lengthy losing streak with a 4-3 road win over the Winkler Flyers.

The win was also the first in the MJHL behind the bench for Head Coach Josh Tripp.

Aidan Taylor, Ben Groome, and Brayden Vopat also scored for the Stampeders, who got a spectacular 38-save performance from Rowan White in the win.

Will Lyons, Nicholas McKee and Kam Thomas replied for the Flyers.

The Stampeders wrap up their road-trip on Saturday night in Selkirk against the Steelers.
